Rebecca Shapiro studied politics at the University of Leeds. A keen student journalist, she has written extensively as Opinion Section Editor and then Deputy Editor of The Tab Leeds. She is also a Leeds City Council employed youth mentor, intern at the Terrorism and Political Violence Association and Campus Ambassador for the non-profit campaigning organisation ONE. She, therefore, spends the majority of her time rushing from one extra-curricular activity to the next - a pastime nearly as enjoyable as riling people up through her writing.
