Rev. Dominique Chantell Atchison is an Associate Minister at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn. She holds a degree in African American Studies from Oberlin College in Ohio and an MDiv. from Union Theological Seminary in New York.

Rev. Atchison began her ministry at the Abyssinian Baptist Church where she served as and intern and was licensed to preach the Gospel.

After seminary Rev. Atchison she served as a Community Minister at Judson Memorial Church. In 2010 she was ordained at Judson by the Metropolitan Association of the New York Conference of the United Church of Christ. She served as the Pastor and Teacher of the Amistad Community Church, UCC in Ann Arbor, MI. She also served Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ as the Coordinator of their Sacred Conversations on Race.

Rev. Atchison is a singer, performance artist and writer. Her contributions have been featured on blogs including For Harriet and the Young Women’s Clergy Project and the African American Lectionary.
