Rev. Eleanor Harrison Bregman

Director of Multi-Faith Relations at Romemu, a Jewish spiritual community in NYC

Rev. Eleanor Harrison Bregman is an ordained minister serving as Director of Multi-Faith Initiatives at Romemu, a synagogue in New York City. She runs a series of events and programs there for interfaith families, couples and those who are not Jewish, as well as multi-faith programming for the entire synagogue. She has served as a chaplain at the Jewish Home Lifecare, led women's retreats, multi-faith study retreats, and discussion series for Christian parents raising Jewish children. She has worked as a community minister on interfaith issues at Judson Memorial Church in Greenwich Village and as a chaplain at Union Mission Inc. in Savannah, GA counseling and serving the spiritual needs of a diverse community including the homeless, drug addicted, and the hospitalized. She has also been published on Kvellar.com and in the Journal of Reform Rabbis: "New York Chutzpah meets Southern Hospitality: Navigating Interfaith Marriage." She received her Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and her BA in Religion is from Princeton University. She lives in New York City, is married to Peter Bregman, and is the mother of three children.
