Margaret Aymer is Associate Professor of New Testament and Area Chair of Biblical Studies at the Interdenominational Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA. Her most recent publication is Confessing the Beatitudes, the 2011-2012 Horizons Bible study for Presbyterian Women of the Presbyterian Church USA and she is currently working on a short book on the epistle of James. Margaret lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband Dr. Laurent Oget. She is a native of Barbados with cultural roots in Jamaica and Antigua, but has been in the US since 1977 and a citizen for twenty years. Margaret is a Teaching Elder (ordained minister) in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and a member of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta.
