Rick Fedrizzi is the chairman and chief executive officer of the International WELL Building Institute,which administers the WELL Building Standard, an evidence-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring the performance of building features that impact health and well-being. IWBI is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. Rick is also founding chair and former CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a membership-based nonprofit organization that promotes sustainability in how buildings and communities are designed, built and operated. Through his bold, collaborative leadership, Rick is leading the transformation of architectural, real estate and business practice, created new markets and sparked innovation, leading to fundamental shifts in resources saved, toxins eliminated, greenhouse gases avoided, and human health enhanced.
