Rick Goings is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tupperware Brands Corporation, a global direct seller of premium, innovative products across multiple brands and categories, through an independent sales force of approximately 2.6 million. Product brands and categories include food preparation, storage and serving solutions for the kitchen and home, through the Tupperware brand, and beauty and personal care products through Avroy Shlain, BeautiControl, Fuller, NaturCare, Nutrimetics, Nuvo and Armand Dupree brands. Goings founded one of the nation’s first direct sellers of home security systems. He was recruited to Avon Products Inc. in 1985 where he held a number of senior management positions: including President Avon Germany, Group Vice President & Senior Operating Officer Pacific Rim, and President of Avon USA. He joined Tupperware in 1992 as President of Tupperware Worldwide. For many years he has served as a member of the national Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He has also served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Governors with distinction and has been named Chairman Emeritus. Goings is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for Tupperware Brands Corporation. He is also a director of RR Donnelley, a director of Business Executives for National Security, a trustee of Rollins College, a participant of the World Economic Forum (WEF), a member of the Board of Executive Advisors for the Yale School of Management’s Chief Executive Leadership Institute and a member of the Florida Council of 100. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for SunTrust Bank, N.A., and of the boards of Reynolds American Inc. (formerly RJR) and Premark International, Inc. In 1999, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America honored Rick Goings with their highest award, the Herbert Hoover Humanitarian Award, for his outstanding leadership as their National Chairman. Additionally, the People’s Republic of China recognized Goings with the Marco Polo Award in March of 2000 for his visionary leadership and his significant role in China’s economic development. Goings was educated at Guilford College and served in the U.S. Navy on the Destroyer, USS Power. He and his wife, Susan, reside in Windermere, Florida.
