Richard Binghames Hendrix Jr. (born January 11, 1970), better known by the name Rick Hendrix, is an American positive entertainment promoter and songwriter. Throughout the years Hendrix has offered marketing consultation, film development, and artist management. Hendrix was part of the team that brought the films "The Passion of the Christ," "Hannah Montana," and "The Prince of Egypt" for DreamWorks to the market. In 2004, Hendrix received recognition for helping bring the Elvis Presley brand back into the world market and promoting Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey, U2, "American Idol," Miley Cyrus and other artists. Hendrix served on Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign as Deputy Faith Advisor in 2008 and sat on her 2016 campaign for president on the finance committee. He was deemed the Democratic Party's biggest evangelist by Michelle Boorstein of the Washington Post for the election.
