Rita Mae Brown is a literary icon, groundbreaking social activist, and working farmer. She is the bestselling author of such notable books as <em>Rita Will</em> and <em>Rubyfruit Jungle</em>, as well as the<em> New York Times </em>bestselling Sister Jane and Mrs. Murphy mystery series (co-written with her tiger cat, Sneaky Pie Brown).
