Roberta Michnick Golinkoff, Ph.D., and Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, Ph.D. do research in language development, spatial learning, and play. They have received numerous prizes for their work, often funded by federal agencies and foundations. Passionate about disseminating developmental science for improving children’s and families’ lives, they wrote the book How Babies Talk (Penguin), Einstein Never Used Flash Cards (Rodale), and Becoming Brilliant: What Science Tells Us About Raising Successful Children (APA Press). They also co-created the QUILS: Quick Interactive Language Screener (Brookes) for preschoolers.
