Co-owners, Heath Ceramics
In 2003, Robin Petravic and Catherine Bailey purchased Heath Ceramics at the end of a quest to build a more satisfying and tangible design life highlighting designing and making. Together they have led the company to become recognized as a design leader and model for bringing together manufacturing, design and responsible business practices as a combination leading to long-term business viability. Robin manages all operational, manufacturing and business development aspects of Heath Ceramics, while Catherine focuses on steering the products and design of the company. Heath Ceramics is a 64-year-old maker of dinnerware and tile with 100 employees and three stores (Sausalito, San Francisco and Los Angeles). Heath makes all of its ceramic products in a 1959 factory in Sausalito, California.
