Roland C. Warren was appointed Care Net CEO in October 2012. With 1180 affiliated pregnancy resource centers, Care Net is the nation’s largest network of centers providing a Christ-centered and compassionate care to those facing unplanned pregnancies. Prior to his tenure at Care Net, Roland served as president of the National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI), where he was dedicated to the mission of improving the well-being of children by increasing the proportion of children that are raised with involved, responsible and committed fathers. Under Roland’s direction, NFI worked alongside Care Net’s national office and many pregnancy resource centers to help launch and/or strengthen the important work of reaching fathers. His national media appearances include The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, CNN, C-SPAN, Dateline NBC, Fox News Channel, and Black Entertainment Television. He has been interviewed by major radio and newspaper outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post, O Magazine, Ebony, Sports Illustrated, Christianity Today, Essence, the Tavis Smiley Show, and Janet Parshall’s America. He also has written a monthly column called “Pop Culture” for The Washington Times. And, he is the author of a book, Bad Dads of the Bible: 8 Mistake Every Good Dad Can Avoid. Roland is an alumnus of Princeton University and has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Roland is married and has two adult sons.
