Rolfe Hanson
Let's Talk Wine
Rolfe Hanson was brought up in Madison, Wisconsin around wine, food, music and restaurants. While finishing his degree at UW-Madison, he first worked in retail wine in 1988 and later in Seattle, Washington. He has worked in the Wisconsin wholesale wine scene since 1999, representing distributors out of Madison and Pewaukee. Along the way he has worked stints at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, as a Public Radio announcer, and as a police officer.
Rolfe resides in the rural northwest part of Wisconsin since 1997 with his wife and two children. A soccer dad, Rolfe cooks and coaches Little League. He enjoys gardening, mountain biking, cross country skiing, weightlifting, and hunting in addition to writing.
