Founder/President, Wallce the Pit Bull Foundation

Roo Yori holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Saint Mary’s University, where he graduated as the Outstanding Male Senior. Roo has worked with homeless dogs for more than a decade, and has been featured in local, national, and international media outlets for his accomplishments with his adopted dogs.

He and his dog Wallace the Pit Bull became National and World Champions as a Frisbee dog team, which turned into the book “Wallace”, written by NY Times Best Selling author Jim Gorant. Among others, Roo and his wife Clara also share their home with Hector, a dog rescued from the Michael Vick dog fighting case. Roo is the Founder/CEO of Wallace the Pit Bull Foundation, which was formed after Wallace passed away to continue helping homeless dogs in his name.
