The first specialized microfinance programme in Pakistan, and which is now the fastest growing microfinance initiative in the country and demonstrated the business case for investing in women's economic empowerment. It achieved financial self-sustainability after seven years of operation and was the first in Pakistan to promote a financial services approach to microfinance, offering savings and insurance along with loans.
