Russell Beard

Russell has been an Information Technology leader since 1996, and has worked within higher education as an IT administrator since 2000. Currently, he is the Vice President of Information Resources and CIO at Bellevue College (BC) in Bellevue WA. BC is the third largest college in the state of Washington serving more than 36,000 students. Russ has served in many leadership roles throughout the higher education system in Washington and is recognized as one of the leaders of influence in the state. Russell currently serves on the Microsoft Higher Ed Advisory Council and Dell’s Large Institution Advisory Council. He has a strong reputation as a strategic thought leader in higher education technology.
