Ryan Hall was an algebra teacher until June at Williamsburg Collegiate Charter School, where he is now director of operations. Mr. Hall this year was a finalist for the TNTP Fishman Prize for Superlative Classroom Practice. Williamsburg Collegiate is part of Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit organization that starts and runs charter schools in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Uncommon currently runs 32 schools.
