Ryan Pavlu’s career with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) began in 2005 when he was hired as the western area director, responsible for initiating expansion programs for WWP throughout the Western United States. Over the years, Ryan has undertaken roles of increasing responsibility within warrior engagement. Ryan currently serves as national service director. In this role, he oversees the strategic direction of the Benefits Service program and manages teammates throughout the country who assist WWP Alumni in securing their federal benefits. Ryan’s years of experience in warrior advocacy have enabled him to create and implement programs that help warriors across the nation. Prior to joining WWP, Ryan enlisted with the United States Air Force. Following a medical discharge in 1999, he served as a national service officer with Disabled American Veterans and as a veterans service representative with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Ryan’s past work with the VA allowed him to initiate contact and create agreements with key leadership on behalf of WWP.
