Samantha Erskine

Director of Development at the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP)

Samantha Erskine is currently the Director of Development at the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP), a nonprofit organization that connects, empowers, and mobilizes the next generation of business and civic leaders. She is also on the Board of Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), a NY-based organization designed to serve girls & young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking. Samantha has had a lifelong commitment to, and passion for, the performing arts. She has trained in ballet, jazz, Latin, and Afro-Diasporic dances, and has taught and performed salsa in Russia, England, Spain, France, Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, all over the U.S., and on a salsa cruise to the Bahamas, opening for El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. She is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management and holds a Master of Arts in Women's History, as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Psychology & Women's Studies.
