Based in New Delhi, Samarth Pathak is a public advocacy specialist and policy analyst with a keen interest in human rights, international relations, politics and SDGs. He is currently associated with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) South Asia. Pathak was previously associated with the Aspen Institute India, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and ANI-Reuters TV. His experience encompasses policy analysis and public advocacy, Track II Diplomacy, strategic communications, news reporting and production, and analysis. Pathak currently writes for The Huffington Post, and his reports and op-eds have also appeared in The Guardian, Reuters Alertnet, Dawn, Hardnews and The Asian Age. Pathak received his M.A. in Human Rights and Duties from the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia and B.A (Honours) in Journalism from the University of Delhi.
