Samir Ibrahim

Director of Design Services and Project Review, Carlisle SynTec Systems

Samir has been with Carlisle SynTec, a leading manufacturer of black and white single-ply membranes and PolyIso/EPS insulation, since 1980. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.

He is currently the Director of Design Services & Project Reviews. Samir and his group are responsible for all design services provided by Carlisle. His group is also responsible for systems and detail development and all code testing operations.

Samir is also the developer and coordinator of all Carlisle architectural and consultant training programs and holds a patent on an automated seaming device for thermoset applications.

He authored and co-authored various papers and has conducted several design presentations on various topics concerning industry issues. He is a member of the EPDM Roofing Association (ERA), the American Architectural Foundation, American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the National Roofing Contractor's Association (NRCA).
