Emergency Deputy Field Director, International Rescue Committee

Sanj Srikanthan is the Emergency Deputy Field Director for the International Rescue Committee, a global humanitarian aid organization that provides emergency and recovery assistance in war and disaster zones. He serves on the IRC's Emergency Response Team--helping design and launch programs during humanitarian crises. He has also held various IRC positions in West Africa, South Sudan and Haiti. Prior to his work with the IRC, Mr. Srikanthan spent five years in the British Military, where he led 100-person teams on two tours in Iraq. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and Sciences Po in Paris, with a focus on economic and political development.
