Sarah Rose Loeb Batchu graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University with a B.A. in Political Science. Since graduating, she has served as Special Assistant to the Mayor of New York City and as Senior Policy Advisor at the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, where she facilitated public-private partnerships to create a stronger, more just city for all New Yorkers. In addition to her roles in government, Sarah has worked on a number of political campaigns, including as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Council Member Carlina Rivera and as a Digital Organizer for Hillary for America. A passionate advocate for advancing girls and women, Sarah has fundraised for the Lower East Side Girls Club, advised on grantmaking at the New York Women's Foundation, and served as a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 6000, which serves the thousands of girls living in the New York City shelter system.
