Sarah R. Boonin

Associate Clinical Professor, Suffolk University Law School

Sarah Boonin is an Associate Clinical Professor at Suffolk University Law School, where she teaches and practices in the areas of mental health law, disability rights, and women’s health law. Prior to joining Suffolk’s faculty, Ms. Boonin spent five years teaching in Harvard Law School’s clinical program, where she began her career as a Skadden Fellow representing victims of domestic violence. Sarah holds her B.A. from Duke University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. Immediately after graduating from Harvard Law School, Sarah served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Judith A. Cowin of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Sarah worked as a field organizer and campaign director for a national women’s rights organization in Washington, DC.
