Sarah Hillware is a social entrepreneur and global communications strategist. She has spent her career helping organizations and campaigns execute growth and engagement strategies.
Recently, she was named one of the DC region's 40 Under 40 professionals and is currently a communications consultant for a multilateral organization. Previously, Sarah has held positions in media, technology and philanthropy.
In 2012, she founded Girls Health Ed, a nonprofit health education program for girls and young women ages 8 to 17 throughout the US and Kenya.
Sarah has also appeared on NBC Washington, in the Washington Examiner, the Washington Post, as well as multiple blogs and magazines and has presented her ideas on education and girls' and women's empowerment at TEDxBerkeley as well as at the United Nations through TEDxUNPlaza.
