Author, "The King Jesus Gospel: The Original Good News Revisited"
Scot McKnight (Ph.D., University of Nottingham) is the Karl A. Olsson Professor in Religious Studies at North Park University in Chicago and a member of the Society for Biblical Literature and the Society for New Testament Studies. McKnight –– a respected New Testament scholar and an authority on the historical Jesus –– is the author of more than 30 books, including "The King Jesus Gospel: The Original Good News Revisited." McKnight is the editor or co-editor of several dictionaries and religious encyclopedias, and writes a popular blog, Jesus Creed. McKnight lives in suburban Chicago with his wife; they have two grown children and one grandchild.
