Stephen M. Davidson

Stephen M. Davidson is a Professor at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Previously, he was on the faculty at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. For more than 40 years, he has studied public policy and management, mostly in relation to the health care system. His research has focused on the effects of public policy on Medicaid and Medicare, health insurance, quality of care, health information technology, access to and cost of care, community health centers, management of health care organizations, and related topics. He is the author or co-author of 7 books and numerous articles. Davidson is a graduate of Swarthmore College and has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
