Journalist, essayist and author of 'Shitfaced: Musings of A Former Drunk.'

Seamus Kirst is a journalist, screenwriter, essayist and author of 'Shitfaced: Musings of a Former Drunk.' He has recently written for The Washington Post, Teen Vogue, Them, The Guardian, Advocate.com, Refinery 29, Forbes.com, Vice.com and UpWorthy. Seamus is a pop culture enthusiast; during the past year, he has interviewed an array of entertainment players including Carmelo Anthony, Khloe Kardashian, Amber Rose, Gabrielle Union, NeNe Leakes and Lisa Ling. Seamus is passionate about social justice. He spent a year doing reentry work with formerly incarcerated individuals through the Doe Fund, and he recently spoke on a Refinery 29 panel about 'Race in America.' Seamus graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in history and ethnic studies. In 2015, he earned his master's degree in arts journalism from the S.I.
