Seth Freeman

Award-winning writer, producer and director

Seth Freeman is an award-winning writer, producer, director and creator of television series and movies for television. He was a producer of the acclaimed newspaper drama Lou Grant. Most recently he created the cable series Lincoln Heights. He has received three Emmy awards (been nominated eight times), the Writers Guild Award and many other industry recognitions. He is active on several community advisory boards including the UCLA Medical Center and the Rape Treatment Center of Santa Monica. He received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. He briefly taught elementary school in a special mathematics program in Richmond and Port Chicago, California, and later taught Math, English and Drama at a private high school in Washington, DC. His work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.
