I can't get you tickets.

I have taught writing, rhetoric, and literature at the University of Houston, Houston Community College, Writers in the Schools, and Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth in Los Angeles. While in Houston, I wrote about art and music for the Houston Press and was a poetry editor of the literary journal Gulf Coast. Working with creator Michael Urbanski, I helped write in-game and cinematic character and NPC dialogue for Damnation (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC). I wrote, edited, and co-produced (with actor/director Frank A. Lama) the independent feature film Swarm of the Snakehead, starring horror icon Gunnar Hansen. Frank and I also wrote the interactive training video BLASTER for U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. I have a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Franklin & Marshall College, earned a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College, and was a Teaching Fellow in the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at The University of Houston.
