Founder of Off the Streets (OTS)
Victimization at a young age led Shaaron to homelessness, drug-addiction and prostitution. After beating addiction in 1994 and getting herself off the streets, she realized that there were limited support options for women in her Gaston County, North Carolina community. Shaaron founded Off the Streets (OTS) to show women in similar situations that they could recover too. The organization provides women a safe, non-judgmental place to recover and become self-sufficient.
