Shanay Thompson, born in California, is a current medical student and former Miss California USA contestant. This young lady holds her masters degree in public health and is a current member on the board of Advocates in Science with Susan G. Komen. She is also an active oncology researcher in the San Francisco area. In her free time she mentors promising at-risk high school students in the Berkeley, CA area and models with Wilhelmina Agency part-time, with her most recent work modeling in New York Fashion Week.
