Shannon Fisher is a radio talk show host, social commentator, journalist, biographer, and civic leader. Her radio show, The Authentic Woman with Shannon Fisher, is the number one show on the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. Shannon is a member of the National Press Club, where she is among a small team of hosts of NPC’s Update-1 podcast, which addresses issues in the media as they relate to current events. Shannon is a dedicated advocate for the safety, rights, and equality of women and girls and serves on the Board of Directors for UniteWomen.org, a national 501(c)(3) human rights advocacy organization. Through educating the public, raising awareness of important social/political issues, and offering solutions through her work, Shannon strives to enact positive change in the world – one day, one issue, and one person at a time.
