Shannon Paigah

Founder, SomethingTurquoiseWedding.com

With a passion for everything wedding and the color turquoise Shannon founded http://www.SomethingTurquoiseWedding.com, a luxury wedding event curated for the discerning bride looking to fuse together little modern touches of culture into their wedding celebration. As a bride-to-be many years ago, Shannon knew that the fashion forward bride deserved a place where the wedding resources were chosen not because they paid for an exhibit space but because they were personally-selected due to their phenomenal attention to detail, their willingness to inspire, inform and invent a wedding that resonates with the fashion forward modern bride. On the same note, as an online retailer of wedding favor boxes, Shannon also knew the challenges exhibitors faced. After exhibiting at a few mediocre bridal shows, she made it her mission to source other like-minded professionals that serve the luxury wedding market and would want to be a part of a wedding event where design has no limits and piped draping is not allowed!

Previous to Something Turquoise Wedding, Shannon worked in the corporate world for many years and before the birth of her first son started her own corporation, www.GiveFavors.com, a retailer of wedding favor boxes and embellishments where a percentage of profits are donated to non-profits. Her company has earned a spot on Conde Naste’s Brides magazine Top 50 Websites and has been featured in several well-known bridal and event publications.
