Sharon Jakubecy is an AmSAT Certified Alexander Technique teacher who has always enjoyed the art of dancing and choreographing, which is rooted in her deep interest in how the body functions. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Cognitive Science in 1995 from UC San Diego. She began studying the Alexander Technique after suffering from chronic pain in her hip. She felt a sense of calmness and ease throughout her body as she continued taking lessons. She truly believed in the process and decided to become an Alexander Technique teacher.
