At a young age Shawn discovered his love of music, while attending as many underground shows and concerts that his parents would allow (and sneaking out for many more). During his tenure at SUNY Purchase, his love for music only grew, and with the expansion of his education he discovered a love and affinity for photography as well. Combining these appreciations, he found his calling: photographing shows and writing about them; sharing his passion and experiences with others.
