Shawna Bader-Blau is executive director of the Solidarity Center, the largest global worker rights organization based in the United States, with programs in more than 60 countries. She is an advocate and activist for working women and men seeking safe jobs with dignity that provide for their families and futures. As the public face of the Solidarity Center, she testifies as an expert witness at congressional hearings and speaks at other fora focused on worker and human rights. Shawna has worked in international development and human rights for 17 years. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors of InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations.
