Shaye Wolf is the climate science director for the Center for Biological Diversity in Oakland, California.

In my position as Climate Science Director at the Center for Biological Diversity, I provide science support for our campaigns to fight the climate crisis. The Center’s Climate Law Institute works to cut greenhouse pollution, speed the just transition to 100% renewable energy, keep the majority of US fossil fuels in the ground, and protect our climate, air, water, health, and wildlife. I also focus on understanding the dangers of climate change to species and ecosystems, and I work to get protections for climate-change-threatened wildlife, from corals to butterflies to Arctic ice seals.
