Dr. Sheila Robinson

Dr. Sheila Robinson is the Founder and Publisher of Diversity Woman Magazine, a professional business magazine for women leaders, executives and entrepreneurs of all races, cultures and backgrounds. Robinson began publishing in 2005 with the launch of North Carolina Career Network, and due to an overwhelming national response, the publication expanded nationally in 2008 becoming Diversity Woman. Dr. Robinson earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation, “Leadership Perspectives on Advancing Women to the C-Suite,” results point to a dynamic set of factors that play a primary role in propelling aspiring women into the C-Suite. Her findings hold an empowering promise that women can not only identify and gain the tools they need to accomplish their C-Suite goals, but also actively pursue and cultivate these assets in a way that offers success in both life and career. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law from the University of North Carolina Central, a Master of Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Robinson has been featured on the cover of Publishing Executive Magazine and named one of 50 Top Women in Magazine Publishing for the significant contribution she has made in her industry.
