SCAD MFA writing student. Word believer.
After a 20-year broadcasting career, Shelley Danzy is pursuing her MFA in Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. She has experience in business writing, copy writing, ghostwriting, voice work, as well as web/print content & design work for email campaigns and collateral materials. Selected nonfiction pieces have been published in SCAD’s online newspaper, Connector; student magazine SCAN; and graduate journal, Document. She has worked closely with SCAD’s Ivy Hall Young Writer’s Workshop. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Morgan State University. She believes in volunteerism and has faith that nothing is impossible. Shelley is an admirer of inspirations, quotes, handwritten notes, public libraries, indie bookstores, and quirky thrift store finds.
