In 2001 Shenan founded the digital marketing agency, Morpheus Media, which she built into a highly profitable and well-respected digital media and strategy business renowned for its work with premier luxury, fashion and retail clients such as Neiman Marcus, LVMH (the entire portfolio), Mont Blanc, Chanel, Net-A-Porter, Bottega Veneta, Giorgio Armani, Lord & Taylor, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, H. Stern, Bergdorf Goodman, L’Oreal, as well as media and entertainment clients such as The New York Times, A&E Television Networks, IFC, Sundance, The Economist and Vimeo. In 2011, she sold the agency, remaining on as Chief Media Officer. In 2014 she joined MEC (now Wavemaker) as President of Digital, North America to shape the future of its digital practice and create the best integrated digital offering in the business. Her goal was ensuring that MEC consistently delivers on its ambition of being its clients’ most valued business partner. Under her leadership, MEC was named Agency of the Year and Shenan was named Marketer of the Year by iMedia in 2015. In April 2017 Shenan stepped in as President of the US L’Oreal business at Wavemaker, Shenan oversees the strategic direction of the partnership between Wavemaker and L’Oreal USA. She is responsible for advancing the partnership, ensuring that L’Oreal USA stays on the cutting edge of media innovation and consistently surpasses its marketing goals. Shenan is a highly sought-after speaker and thought leader, regularly presenting at major industry conferences and symposia. Her insights and opinions have been cited in a host of business and industry publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, AdAge, MediaPost and Women’s Wear Daily. Her deep understanding of analytics and online media management has mandated her inclusion on several advisory boards including Pinterest, AdLedger, Namely, Style Coalition, Doubleclick, and the Iona College School of Mass Communications.
