Sigtryggur Magnason is a playwright, a journalist and the author of the plays Herjólfur Has Stopped Loving, which premiered in The National Theatre of Iceland in 2003, and Imminent, which premiered as a part of the Reykjavík Art Festival in 2007, and was nominated for the Icelandic Theatre Awards as the Playwright of the year. A journalist since 1998, he has also worked as an editor of three magazines and a current affairs radio program at the RÚV, the Icelandic Broadcasting Service, as well as a columnist for Morgunbladid.
