Simon Johnson has worked with the Huffington Post since 2009 and is currently a contributing editor on Fiscal Affairs. He is co-author of <a href="http://whitehouseburning.com" rel="nofollow">White House Burning: The Founding Fathers, Our National Debt, and Why It Matters to You</a>. He is a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, a member of the CBO's Panel of Economic Advisers, and a member of the FDIC's systemic resolution advisory panel. He is a co-founder of <a href="http://baselinescenario.com" rel="nofollow">The Baseline Scenario</a>. He was previously the former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund.
