Author, 'Opa Nobody', 'Cover Me: A Health Insurance Memoir'

Sonya Huber is the author of two memoirs published by University of Nebraska Press: Opa Nobody (2008), about labor activism in her German family, and Cover Me: A Health Insurance Memoir (2010). She has a writing textbook forthcoming in 2011 entitled The Backwards Research Guide for Writers: Using Your Life for Reflection, Connection, and Inspiration. Her work has been published in The Washington Post Magazine, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Fourth Genre, Hotel Amerika, and many other journals and anthologies.
