Dr. Shenila Khoja-Moolji is a specialist of gender, Islam, and youth studies. Her work examines the intersection of gender and power in transnational contexts, particularly in relation to Muslims. In addition to academic journals, her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Al Jazeera.
