Stella Tulli

I am a mother of 3- 2 boys ages 10 and 9 and an almost 2 year old girl. I am born and raised in NJ, daughter of a Puerto Rican mother and an Argentinean father. I have a younger brother and a younger sister- whom, was tragically murdered on our mother's 60th birthday in 2010.

Because of my immensely broken heart, I began finding ways to turn my family's tragedy into something positive and to give hope to other's while they ride the grief emotional roller coaster.

I am currently advocating for Halfway House Reform in NJ- due to the fact that my sister's murderer escaped from custody while residing in a halfway house and murdered my sister. Due to the lack of oversight within this halfway house corporation- I am fighting hard for reform and hopefully get a law passed in my sister's name.

I grew up wanting to be a writer- but never felt I was "good enough."

Through my life experiences- I think I'm finally ready to be "good enough" and share our story.
