Stephanie Bell-Rose leads the TIAA-CREF Institute, which produces original research and insights on issues pertaining to financial security and organizational effectiveness for the educational, nonprofit and public sectors. Previously, she served as President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation and as Counsel and Program Officer for Public Affairs at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. She holds AB, JD and MPA degrees from Harvard University was a recipient of Harvard’s Rockefeller Fellowship, and serves on the boards of the Knight, Public Welfare, and Executive Leadership Foundations as well as the Council on Foundations and American Museum of Natural History.
