Registered Dietitian & Co-Founder of FRESH Communications

Stephanie Ferrari, MS, RDN is a Boston-based dietitian and co-founder of FRESH Communications, a public relations firm that exclusively serves food, beverage and nutrition companies. With a background in journalism, public relations and nutrition Stephanie enjoys combining her experience and talents to promote good, healthy food. Prior to co-founding FRESH, Stephanie managed communications and marketing for New England Dairy & Food Council. Stephanie is a skilled media spokesperson with more than 40 appearances on broadcast television. She has also been interviewed for several newspaper articles in newspapers throughout New England including the Boston Globe. Stephanie started her career at the public relations agency The Castle Group, Inc. in Boston before going back to graduate school at Boston University to become a registered dietitian. At the Castle Group, Stephanie performed media relations for health, food, travel and other consumer industries and secured media coverage in top tiered outlets such as the Associated Press, Self Magazine, and the New York Times. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics from Boston University. Stephanie served as the Director of Public Relations for the Massachusetts Dietetic Association for the 2015 term. She is an active member of Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Dietitians in Business and Communications dietary practice groups under the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Stephanie believes that true wellness comes from a balance of healthy food, an active lifestyle, spending time with loved ones, and never giving up on your dreams. On weekends, you’ll find her spending quality time with her husband Rich and daughter Madeline.
