Actor, co-founder of The Creative Coalition

Stephen Collins is an actor who’s appeared in movies, TV series, miniseries, and on- and off the Broadway stage. Probably best known for his role as Rev. Eric Camden on TV’s record-breaking family drama, 7th Heaven, he’ll be seen in April 2012 in the Farrelly Brothers' new comedy, The 3 Stooges. Among his best-known films and miniseries are All The President’s Men, Star Trek — The Motion Picture, The First Wives Club, and The Two Mrs. Grenvilles. In 1989, with the late Ron Silver and Christopher Reeve, and also Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, and Blythe Danner, he founded The Creative Coalition, an political advocacy group for people in the arts. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, the actress Faye Grant, and is the author of two novels, several plays, and occasional pieces for The Huffington Post.
