Stephen is the producer of In Utero and will direct the followup documentary, now in production. He is a poet (Claptrap), a veteran director of movies and TV, including Losing Isaiah, Homegrown, Twin Peaks, Rectify, Billions, Waterland, Dangerous Woman, Grassroots and the upcoming movie So B. It. Best of all, he is the father of two wonderful grown kids; one wonderful toddler and grandfather to two stunning granddaughters. Heβs married to Kathleen Gyllenhaal β a screenwriter and the director of In Utero.
