Steve Hutensky is a producer and film executive living in Los Angeles. He produced the acclaimed spiritual documentary WAKE UP which has been on a successful country-wide screening tour and anchored the premiere episode of Oprah Winfrey Network’s “Super Soul Sunday”.

Steve served as senior executive vice president and the head of business affairs for Relativity Media in Los Angles from June 2009 until September 2011. At Relativity, he oversaw all business and legal aspects of the company’s single picture business, including production, development, acquisitions, financing and distribution. Prior to joining Relativity, Steve worked as an independent producer based in New York City where he formed Walk The Walk Entertainment which he still runs today.

From 1995 to 2004, Steve worked as an executive at Miramax Films during the height of the studio’s success, holding a variety of top positions and serving as one of the principal advisors to the company’s co-chairman, Harvey Weinstein. At Miramax, Steve ran the business and legal affairs department for the Miramax label, served as a creative executive in the company’s production and development group and oversaw the company’s various non-film businesses including its book division and investments in magazines, real estate and restaurants. Steve served as executive producer on The Human Stain directed by Robert Benton and staring Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins and as executive in charge of production on Cold Mountain directed by Anthony Minghella and staring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger.
